Worst place I have ever lived! This is such a dingy complex, everything inside is Dollar Tree cheap and yet they charge you a fortune to live here. I have never lived at a place that never brought in pest control or change your air filters and yet I never saw them do it here. Everywhere you walk outside there is trash, dog poop, and broken glass. If anything breaks and you call maintenance they will scold you and threaten to charge you, even though you can sneeze too hard and something breaks because everything is so cheap! (I would barely touch my vertical blinds and one would fall off. Super cheap and yet you can see how much they want me to pay for them). When I moved in, my cabinets and drawers were full of dead roaches (some still alive) and I had to clean them all out before I could even unpack my dishes. I had to line my cabinets and drawers with padding because I felt too grossed out for my dishes to directly touch the surface. When spring came and the weather got hot, the roaches came back. I would see them crawling out of the ceiling and no matter how much I cleaned or sprayed they would not go away. Again, the roaches were there when I moved in and this complex does not do routine pest control, and yet when I move out they want me to pay $500 for a roach infestation! I have a special needs child and I admit he did some things like broke a light fixture and put a hole in the wall, but my security deposit shouldâve been more than enough to cover the damages. They are also trying to charge me twice for one thing (bulb light fixture and bulb fixture on lamp is the same thing). They want me to paint $800 for them to repaint the unit? I thought all apartment complexes are required to paint and clean the unit before another guest moves in. Thatâs a standard practice and I should not have to pay for that. I cleaned my toilets and tubs and while things werenât left perfect, I guess they expected it to look better than when I moved in. I should have asked to be reimbursed for all the time spent wiping roaches and grime out of all my cabinets and drawers. They sent me this ridiculous bill within two weeks of moving out. About 2 weeks later, before I even had time to pay, they sent it to a debt collector. Sounds like a scam to me. Theyâve found a way to get their money and wreck peopleâs credit. Ms. Angela and all other employees were very nice but overall the complex is awful and the company that owns it is crooked. Stay far away from this place, especially if you have children.
